How to fill blisters, boxes,
bags or tubes
of various sizes

When
a company is looking to the future,
it must invest in technology and quality.
But it also has to provide a complete and accurate assistance service.
For this reason, Patreider proposes itself as
High-tech solution provider for various industrial sectors, including
the food sector, and more precisely the confectionery industry.

Situated in the beautiful/tranquil
area of Auronzo di Cadore, Patreider, founded by Thomas Patreider
in 1991, specialises in the development of special machines
integrating robots, vision systems and quality control. For
the optimisation of customers' production processes, the company
offers an effective consultancy, technical and maintenance
service and supplies specific solutions to meet various requirements
in the field of robotics and special machines. The Sales Engineer,
Davide Barbato, explains "according to customer's needs,
related to output volumes and special formats, we analyse
the type of automation that may be required. Following which,
we describe our ideas in detail utilising the latest 3-D simulation
programs, in order to accurately predict what the final machine
will look like".
Product
handling
And automatic warehouses

The company
has considerable experience as a high-tech solution provider in various
sectors, including the mechanical sector, eyewear production, industrial
assembly and the automotive industry. The factory, located near
Belluno, also produces assembling machines, but most of the company's
activity is focused on the food-processing industry. Especially
for many well-known industries operating in the confectionery sector,
the company develops product handling and pick-and-place systems.
"Our machineries can handle the products along the whole packaging
line", states Barbato, "With our machines, we can fill blisters,
boxes, bags or tubes in different formats".
In the food sector, the company has an excellent know-how also in
the development of automatic warehouses and so-called automated
storage units. In factories requiring the ovens to work 24 hours a day,
production cannot be stopped, even in the case of a machine stoppage
downstream. Our machines buffer the products in specialised warehouses
until the downstream activity is resumed. Productivity improvements of
up to XXX % have been achieved. (Patreider machines pick the products
and place them on trays that are then transferred to special cells,
in which the products remain until the activity downstream is resumed.)
